(He/Him)

I’m Cesar, a seasoned physiotherapist who graduated and began practicing in 2013. Since 2015, I’ve been proud to serve the Dundas West community, helping active individuals recover from injury, improve performance, and return to the activities they love. As the senior physiotherapist and proprietor of Brockton Physiotherapy, I’ve worked to cultivate a reputation for evidence-informed care, individualized treatment, and compassionate rehabilitation.

In addition to my clinical work, I’ve coached CrossFit and cross-training at Academy of Lions since 2016. Working closely with athletes of all levels has deepened my understanding of strength training, movement mechanics, injury prevention, and performance development. Whether you’re training for a sport, preparing for a race, or simply looking to move better, I bring both clinical expertise and real-world coaching experience to every treatment session.

As a mentor and supervisor to physiotherapy students, I’m passionate about shaping the future of the profession and fostering a culture of excellence and lifelong learning. I also volunteer with the University of Toronto, where I help teach physiotherapy students practical assessment skills including running analysis, plyometric testing, functional performance assessments, and return-to-sport decision-making. These experiences allow me to stay current with emerging evidence while contributing to the development of future healthcare professionals.

Being a dad is one of the greatest joys of my life. My family keeps me grounded and serves as a constant source of motivation both inside and outside the clinic. Fatherhood has reinforced the values of patience, empathy, and connection that I strive to bring to every patient interaction.

Beyond my professional endeavours, I enjoy staying active through Olympic weightlifting, CrossFit, soccer, and strength training. You’ll also find me coaching at Academy of Lions or enjoying my longtime passion for salsa and bachata dancing. I believe movement should be accessible, enjoyable, and adaptable to every stage of life, and I strive to help my patients build confidence and resilience through movement.
